Email Domains Strategy
Multi-domain email strategy for protecting deliverability and scaling outreach.
Overview
Juniro uses multiple domains to separate email types and protect domain reputation:
| Domain | Purpose | Risk Level |
|---|---|---|
juniro.com | Business, transactional, support | Must protect |
getjuniro.com | Cold outreach only | Acceptable risk |
juniro.net | Backup / future expansion | Reserved |
Why Separate Domains?
The Problem
Cold emails have higher spam complaint rates. When recipients mark emails as spam:
- Domain reputation drops
- Future emails go to spam folder
- Affects ALL emails from that domain
The Risk
If cold outreach damages juniro.com:
| Email Type | Impact |
|---|---|
| Booking confirmations | Users don't receive, miss classes |
| Password resets | Users locked out of accounts |
| Business emails | Partners/investors see spam folder |
| Support replies | Customers think we're ignoring them |
The Solution
Use a separate domain for cold outreach:
juniro.com → Protected (transactional, business, support)
getjuniro.com → Expendable (cold outreach)
If getjuniro.com gets spam complaints, juniro.com stays clean.
